Every week, I open my virtual office doors to parents and athletes who need real answers to real challenges. No sales pitch. No generic advice. Just personalized guidance from someone who's been in the trenches as a professional athlete, development coach, and sports parent.
After over 8 years of helping young athletes reach their potential, I've discovered something crucial: the most significant breakthroughs often occur in simple conversations.
That's why I created free office hours—a dedicated time where you can bring your specific situation and get expert guidance without any barriers.
Who Are Office Hours For?
Saturday Sessions: Sports Parents Who Are...
Struggling with post-game conversations that keep backfiring
Watching their talented athlete underperform when it matters
Unsure how to support without adding pressure
Navigating the confusing world of recruiting
Dealing with playing time frustrations
Questioning whether their investment in sports is worth it
Feeling alone in their sports parenting journey
Sunday Sessions: Young Athletes Who Are...
Dominating practice but freezing in games
Wanting more playing time but unsure how to earn it
Dealing with performance anxiety or fear of failure
Considering quitting despite their talent
Stressed about college recruiting
Ready to develop their mental game
Seeking guidance beyond just physical training
What Happens During Office Hours?
The Format: Small Group, Big Impact
Each session is limited to 10 participants, creating an intimate environment where every participant receives personal attention. Here's what to expect:
Real-Time Q&A - Bring your specific situation and get tailored advice. This session isn't a webinar where you sit quietly; it's an interactive discussion.
Peer Learning - Often, hearing another parent or athlete's challenge provides insights for your situation. The small group creates powerful shared learning.
Expert Guidance - With my background as a former professional basketball player, Hall of Fame college athlete, and youth development specialist, I provide perspectives from multiple angles.
Actionable Solutions - You'll leave with at least one strategy you can implement immediately, no theory without practice.
Judgment-Free Zone - Every question is valid. Every struggle is real. This call is a safe space for honest discussion.
How Office Hours Work
Step 1: Reserve Your Spot
Simply DM "PARENT" (for Saturday sessions) or "ATHLETE" (for Sunday sessions) on Instagram or Facebook. I manage these messages to keep them personal and straightforward.
Step 2: Receive Confirmation
I'll send you the Zoom link and any relevant details for the upcoming session. First-come, first-served basis.
Step 3: Prepare Your Questions
Think about your biggest challenge this week. The more specific your question, the more targeted my guidance can be.
Step 4: Join Live
Parents: Saturdays, 10-11 AM EST
Athletes: Sundays, 10-11 PM EST
Camera on or off—whatever makes you comfortable.
Step 5: Get Answers and Take Action
Leave with clarity, strategies, and a connection to others on the same journey.
Why Free Office Hours?
You might wonder why I offer this for free. The answer is simple but personal.
I watched a family member unknowingly sabotage her son's promising basketball career. She loved him fiercely but didn't have the tools to support him properly. That heartbreak, combined with my love and passion for personal growth and development, drove me to create accessible support for families.
No parent should navigate this journey alone. No athlete should struggle without guidance.
Office hours represent my commitment to making expert guidance accessible to everyone, not just those who can afford private consulting.
Common Questions About Office Hours
Do I need to attend every week?
No. Come when you need support. Some families attend weekly, others drop in when challenges arise.
What if I'm unable to make the scheduled time?
DM anyway! I maintain a waitlist and occasionally add sessions based on demand. I'm also developing resources for everyday challenges.
Is this really free? What's the catch?
Completely free. No catch. While I do offer paid programs for families seeking deeper support, my office hours are available at no cost.
Can my athlete and I both attend our respective sessions?
Absolutely! Many families find value in parents and athletes participating in their respective sessions.
What if my question is too personal?
The small group format allows for discretion. If something is extremely sensitive, I can suggest we connect privately afterward.
Are sessions recorded?
I record sessions only with explicit permission from all participants, primarily to create helpful content for families who can't attend live.
Topics Coming Up

About Coach E. Bell
Eric Bell brings a unique perspective to youth sports development. As a former professional basketball player in European leagues and a Hall of Fame college athlete (SUNY New Paltz, 2016), he understands the athletic journey from youth leagues to professional competition.
However, it's his role as a sports parent and his over 8 years of developing young athletes that truly shape his approach. After witnessing his family members' struggles with the challenges of youth sports, Coach Bell created the Players Development Club and these free office hours to ensure that no family navigates this journey alone.
His philosophy is simple: Develop the person, not just the player. When parents and athletes get the support they need, everyone thrives.
